1 / What should I do if the pressure or table is uncomfortable?
Speak up! This is your session and experience. Your therapist wants you to enjoy every minute and benefit as much as possible from the time you spend with them. If you would like anything changed – the pressure, position, temperature, music, etc… speak up! You will not hurt your therapists’ feelings by asking for something that will make you feel more comfortable.
2 / Should I take off my underwear before my massage?
Our therapist will ask you to remove clothing only as far as you're comfortable. If you want to leave on your undergarments, that is fine. It's completely up to you, and you are encouraged to undress to your level of comfort.

Tight-fitting or bulky undergarments can sometimes get in the way of the massage, especially if your problem areas are the low-back, buttocks, or hips. Women usually remove their bras so no straps are in the way of back and shoulder massage.

Licensed massage therapists must ensure that clients are always properly covered by a sheet or towel, genitals will never be exposed, and only the specific areas being massaged will be uncovered.
3 / Will the massage hurt?
No, massages should not hurt. If you are in pain during a massage, this will cause your muscles to tense up as a protective instinct, making the relaxing effects more difficult to achieve. If the pressure is too intense, speak up immediately so your therapist can adjust. Certain techniques may result in soreness during the days following a massage, similar to that of a good workout, but you should not have pain during your massage.
4 / What if I fall asleep, snore or drool?
It's normal to fall asleep during a massage. Falling asleep is normal once you're in a relaxed state especially if you are stressed or sleep deprived.

There's no judgment from us if you snore. We're happy you're relaxed enough to fall asleep!

Drooling is also common, especially if you're lying on your stomach. Ask us for a tissue, and we'll be happy to get one for you.
5 / What if I get an erection during my massage?
Arousal is a natural parasympathetic response, so don’t feel guilty. However, understand that it was not your massage therapist’s intention to arouse you. An educated, professional massage therapist understands this, and it should not be an issue for him or her. If you are still concerned, consider wearing more fitted underwear, which provides more support and coverage than traditional boxer shorts.
NOTE: We do have a zero tolerance policy and any sexual advances, innuendo, or inappropriate touching is grounds for immediate termination of your session.
6 / What if I have body acne, skin conditions or forgot to shave?
Rest assured, massage therapists have seen and felt it all! Please do not feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, you cannot relax if you are anxious about your body’s appearance. Your massage therapist is focused on creating a relaxing and therapeutic experience for you.
