Meet Gabrielle: A Specialist with a Mission
Gabrielle is not your typical massage therapist. She is a specialist who views bodywork through the precise lens of human movement and science. Clients in the Evans area frequently seek Gabrielle out because of her unique educational background. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Augusta University, and that advanced understanding of biomechanics and anatomy allows her to see how muscles work together in a way that goes far beyond standard massage training.
Expertise Rooted in Science
Gabrielle spent years working alongside physical therapists in clinics throughout the CSRA, and those experiences shaped her belief that the best patient outcomes happen when medical professionals collaborate. She works closely with local chiropractors, physical therapists, and physicians to ensure her clients receive a seamless circle of professional care.
Gabrielle’s sessions are goal-oriented and therapeutic. She is not a therapist who simply rubs lotion onto the skin. Instead, she is a problem-solver. Whether she is utilizing Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular therapy, or her certification in Ashiatsu (barefoot) massage, her focus is on releasing chronic knots, alleviating sciatica, and resolving the root causes of tension headaches and migraines.
Compassionate Specialization
In addition to her orthopedic expertise, Gabrielle is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. This specialization is deeply personal for her. It was inspired by her mother’s journey as a breast cancer survivor, and today Gabrielle is dedicated to supporting those managing lymphedema following cancer treatments or lymph node removal. She truly enjoys providing specialized care with a heart for the oncology community.
Gabrielle is a lifelong learner who is constantly seeking out new classes to hone her skills. Her goal is simple: she wants to help every person feel better and stay pain-free so they can get back to enjoying life’s adventures. At Knead to Unwind, Gabrielle doesn't just provide a service—she massages with a mission.
Fun Fact!
Before Gabrielle even finished her Kinesiology degree or transitioned into human massage as a profession, she was already busy helping our four-legged friends! She actually became a certified equine and canine sports massage therapist while she was still in college. For six years, she had the pleasure of working with the horses in the Blue Ribbon Riders Hippotherapy program in Grovetown, proving that her passion for healing has always extended to every "body" in need.
